In my October Good News article, I spoke of the need for a sound strategic (long term) plan for our church and community. This month I’d like to talk about sound strategic (long term) plan for you personally.
And specifically, I’m speaking about our long-term strategy for retirement…and I’m not talking about a financial plan. This is about how we plan on using our time and talent. Oftentimes, retirement is viewed as something to be feared since the vision of retirement is that classic scene of endless hours without meaning or purpose or some ambiguous idea of “doing what we’ve always dreamed of.”
