Annunciation Greek Orthodox Charity & Fundraising

Our outreach mission is to help spread the Good News via community building and events. We aim to spread hope and joy by being leaders in our community and helping those in need of compassion.

As distinct members of the Rochester community for over 100 years, we strive to be known for more than our excellent annual Greek Festival. Each year, our parish has dedicated itself to community outreach from our yearly toy drives to raising money for the hungry. We lead by example – an example that aims to fulfill the command of our Lord Jesus Christ to reach out to the sick and poor, and to serve the least fortunate of our brethren.

Many of the events that we hold or participate in are open to a variety of age demographics such as 5k runs for teens and young adults or craft/toy projects for our youth. Overall, we have a primary focus on youth participation with the goal of instilling these fine principles as early as possible.

Each month, we will feature a different charity or fundraising event to cast a diverse net of relief and support. Whether we’re hosting pet adoptions, raising awareness for teen suicide, or assembling care packages for orphans, we hope to bring a light of hope to as many as possible.
