Dear Parents and Parishioners,
We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our parish community! Our recent Diaper Drive collected over 1,600 diapers and $750 in monetary donations (~6,250 additional diapers!) which have been given to the Junior League of Rochester Diaper Bank to assist families in need. Please see below for upcoming events and ideas during Great Lent. As always we welcome the ideas, questions, time, and talents of our community!
With love and prayers for a blessed Lenten Season,
Karina and Lauren

Learning Our Faith
We are so proud of all of our youth who participated in the Oratorical Festival this year! Everyone had wonderful speeches! Great job everyone! We have four participants moving on to the district level: Athanasia Tzogas, Antonio Chinchilla, Helen Broikos and Irene Broikos. We wish you all the best at the district level Oratorical Festival! We will now be focusing on the events leading up to Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection for the rest of March and April. At home you can:
- Read the stories of the events in Holy Week.
- Start to practice Christ has Risen Hymn
Living Our Faith
- See below for a Lenten Calendar that you can participate in with your child! It is never too late to
start! - We would like to collect kid friendly Lenten meals! If you have a recipe that you and your family like
for lent please feel free to share with us! You can email us at here.
Practicing Our Faith
Continue to participate in the three areas of Lent:
- Fasting: discuss why we fast! What else can we fast from besides food?
- Alms Giving: Continue to collect coins for our coin drive. Due on April 18th
- Prayer: Learn a new prayer, pray at dinner, pray at bedtime
