Dear Parishioners,
We had a wonderful and busy month of January! Juan taught about baptism in our chapel in the first couple of weeks of January. We celebrated Jesus’s birthday and baptism! The children did a wonderful job making cards for Jesus. Come check out the bulletin board in Sunday School to see the wonderful cards displayed! We also had a fun competitive game day in January to test out our bible and church knowledge! We also put together our “sweet cases” for children in the foster care system. Thank you to all of those who helped support this effort.
We had Godparent Sunday in the beginning of February. Godparents and children made Valentines cards for our parishioners residing in assisted living communities. Moving into February and March we are preparing for Lent and the Oratorical Festival. We are excited to see our children participate in the annual Oratorical Festival. Please keep working on your child’s bingo board at home. We will be announcing more attendance awards in late March as well!
We had so many kids get perfect attendance in December!! Congratulations to all the kids below. Keep up the good work everyone!

Important Dates:
Feb 19th and 26th: Sunday School will occur during February break. We understand many people are gone this week, but we hope to see as many people as possible!

March 5th: Procession of Icons- Children bring icon to church
March 12th: Oratorical Festival after the Divine Liturgy
March 19th: 3rd Chapel Lesson on Divine Liturgy
