Join Us in Helping Our Neighbors at Asbury First United Methodist Church

Did you know that our neighbors at Asbury First United Methodist Church are doing incredible philanthropic work? Their Community Outreach Center (COC) provides a variety of essential services for those in need —from hot meals to hot showers, medical care and so much more! Last month, Philoptochos had the pleasure of touring the COC and learning more about how our parish can support their critical programs. It’s wonderful to partner with our neighbor to serve our neighbors in the spirit of Christ’s love. Asbury First is looking for more hands, help and support, with opportunities to serve in a variety of ways. Even an hour or a single donation drop off can make a big difference! You don’t have to have a lot of time or experience — just the desire to put our Orthodox faith in action by improving the lives of those facing hardship.
