With Easter and the Greek Festival taking up much of our time in the coming weeks, there is one more important Philoptochos event to announce.

We elect a new Philoptochos Board every other year and will be having elections this year. The election date has been scheduled for Sunday, May 18th. The election will take place after church and ballots will be available in the hall.

Per the bylaws, we will be electing an odd number of board members – a total number between 7-17 (based on the size of our chapter). If you are interested in running for the Board, please contact Nancy Papapanu. She will be running the election for this year.

Candidates in the election and those who would like to vote in the election need to be members in good standing in Philoptochos. If you have not yet paid your dues for this year, you can submit your payment to Maria Economides. ($30 for those under the age of 65, $25 for those 65 and older).

After the vote takes place, the new board will be sworn in and will then convene to elect the new officers.

All of the organizations continue to have many events at Church from coffee hour to parties and dances and everything in between. These events cannot happen without the assistance provided by all the members of our parish. Thank you to everyone who helps to make all of the events at the Church successful.
