Join us in the Downstairs Classrooms following Divine Liturgy for a visit from the Seneca Park ZooMobile showcasing many animals for our Youth!
The ZooMobile will be set up to display, educate, and enthrall with a wide variety of animals including mammals, reptiles, and birds! “The ZooMobile program has brought conservation education outreach programs to the community since 1986. [Their] mission is to inspire our community to connect, care for, and conserve wildlife and wild places. The Seneca Park Zoo brings this inspiration to you through the ZooMobile, with our ambassador animals and hands-on citizen science projects. Big or small, predator or prey, all animals have special adaptations to help themselves and their species survive. In this program, learn about what animals need to do to survive in their natural ranges and how their adaptations help them along the way.”
Seneca Park staff will be on hand to answer all questions and oversee the hour-long event. Note: this is not a petting zoo, hence only the staff will be handling the animals on hand.
