Dear Annunciation Community,

It is with sadness that I announce the passing of long-time parishioner, Stavros Zahos, on Friday, May 26, 2026.  Predeceased by his beloved wife Rose Ann, Stavros is survived by his three loving daughters, Cyndi (Jo Anne), Elena Knapp, and Stephanie (Joseph) Mastrella, along with many nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.

Presvytera Teri, our Parish Council and I wish God’s mercy and compassion on the soul of His newly departed servant and longtime parishioner, and we ask that you pray with us for God’s strength and compassion to the Zahos family during this very difficult time.

Visitations for Stavros will be held in Webster at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road, on Wednesday, June 3, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Trisagion at 7:00 PM.

His funeral will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 960 East Avenue, Rochester, on Thursday, June 4, at 10:00 AM, with interment immediately following at White Haven Memorial Park
