We hope you are having an enjoyable summer!  As a jump start in anticipation of the start of the new church year, we are planning a one-day retreat at our church on Thursday, August 15th in celebration of the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos which will include a procession of the Epitaphio of the Theotokos (something new that most of you have probably never seen).

As a new addition to the Summer Retreat, we will be following this event with a Lakeside Retreat Camping Adventure for preteens and teens August 16th-18th. More information and registration for this event coming soon.

To enhance the experience for our kids, they will be participating in the service.  After the service, we’ve planned a day of fun activities at the Church!

This event would be geared towards Kindergarten through 7th grade.  Parents are not required to stay if their child is going into kindergarten or older, we request any preschool or younger children have a parent or guardian with them.

Also, we (and Father) are encouraging our older grades AND GOYA to volunteer to help with the service and the activities throughout the day.
